'WillowQuarter' originated from a modest vision: to introduce true Neapolitan pizzas to London. Established by the Romano lineage in 1985, our small family-operated pizzeria inherited generations-old recipes.
Mia Romano, our pioneer, mastered pizza creation from her immersive journey across Italy, where she learned from Neapolitan pizza maestros. When she returned to the UK, she aimed to recreate the authentic Italian pizza essence, employing classical techniques and selecting the finest ingredients.
Our beginnings can be traced to a cozy pizzeria with only 12 seats. Throughout our expansion into a cherished local fixture, devotion to premium standards and originality remains intact. We persist in employing wood-fired ovens, preparing our dough freshly each day, and procuring top-notch ingredients.
Today, the 'WillowQuarter' legacy is upheld by the original Romano family, now with the next generation at the helm of our devoted crew. Even with some contemporary updates, our business’s core—crafting delectable, genuine pizzas that unite patrons—stays unchanged.
